Rival Gaming Powered Casinos in South Africa

Rival Gaming is a company that’s been running since 2006. Their claim to fame is allowing their operators to accept players from the United States, something that a lot of software companies do not do because of the lack of regulation of the industry there. Regardless, their games are played all over the world. They have a decent selection of over 150 titles, driven primarily by their frequent new slot releases, and they have dozens of operators that use their software. While they’re sometimes criticized for having some titles that just aren’t very good, they also have created innovative approaches to how online slots are handled.

Rival Gaming Awards & Accolades

Something about Rival that you have to understand is that they’ve literally been around half as long as a lot of their competition, and they also focus on different markets than most of their competition. In spite of that, they’ve still been able to power multiple operators who have won Best New Casino awards in the past, and they’ve regularly been the software backer for sites ranked highly for players from the United States. Outside of that, they haven’t really been awarded much as far as mainstream awards goes because they don’t really fit the mould of a mainstream company, which we’ll look at next.

Atypical Game Selection

A common criticism of Rival Gaming, and one that’s definitely fair, is that their titles seem to be either really good or really bad, with little room for anything in between. A part of this comes from the fact that they seem to put out more classic slots than any other company does in modern times, and they’re constantly trying to introduce new ideas and spins on old formats like the three-reel games. Some of these ideas fall flat, which results in games that players don’t really take much interest in. However, some of these ideas end up becoming very popular, one such example being their i-Slot line of games. These are interactive video slots that have multiple stages of play, and the game-play changes a bit from stage to stage with different symbols and objectives. As you play through the game, you keep trying to make it further and further until the story ends and you have to start over to try again. This has led to a huge increase of replay value, something that other online software companies have been trying to accomplish for a long time.

Rival Gaming Popularity

Rival Gaming’s titles tend to be pretty popular in the United States, and this is largely due to the fact that there is a limited amount of competition there. The bottom line is that their games, on average, don’t really hold up to the best games that you can find from the top names in the industry. However, if you compare Rival’s top titles to the titles from these top names, they definitely hold their own. While they might not have graphics that are as good (which is largely because they’re built from the ground up to have quick loading times), the game-play is just as good, and often better, than some of the more popular titles.
