No Deposit Required Bonuses Terms & Conditions
All online casino no deposit required bonuses come with strict terms and conditions which can be viewed on the individual casino websites. The first thing we recommend when looking to claim a bonus is to take note of the types of games that the bonus allows you to play, secondly also make sure you look carefully for the play-through requirements, these catch most players. Limited cash-out conditions may also apply.
Online Casino Bonuses
Not all online casino bonuses are great deals, but some of them can give a tremendous amount of value if you know how to find them.
In the beginning of the online casino industry, it was critical for the sites to give players an incentive to get in on the action because Internet play was fairly new to a lot of people, and they weren’t sure if they could trust it. Later on as people became more accustomed to it, the bonuses were in place for online casinos to compete with each other.
In today’s industry, however, many bonuses are just in place because it’s become the traditional thing to do, and some of them don’t actually offer a good deal for players. We want to show you how to tell which are a good deal and which you should stay away from.
Wagering Requirement Basics
The original point of wagering requirements (also known as play-through requirements) was to prevent people from signing up at a site just to cash out the online casino bonus without actually playing the games. The basic idea of a play-through requirement is that there’s a certain amount of play required before you can cash out once you’ve claimed a bonus.
This is typically a multiple of the bonus and/or deposit used for the promotion. For example, if you deposit R50 for a R75 bonus, and there’s a 20x play-through on the bonus and the deposit, then you’d multiply R125 by 20 to get R2,500, which is the amount you have to bet in total wagers (not wins or losses, but just wagers) before you can cash out.
Calculating Your Average Loss
Sometimes the wagering requirements can be so large that you actually lose money overall from claiming it. You can do a simple calculation to decide if that’s the case for any particular offer you have in mind. If you have a 100 percent match on a deposit of R50 with a 25x play-through on the deposit and bonus, for example, then you’d need to wager a total of R2,500 to be able to cash out.
If you apply the house advantage of the games you play to this requirement, you can find out how much it will cost you to clear the bonus itself. If the house advantage was 2.5 percent, for example, you’d lose R62.50 on average before you cleared the R50 bonus for a total loss of R12.50. That’s obviously not a good deal.
However, if the average house edge was just 1.5 percent, then you would only lose R37.50 on average, and that means you would profit R12.50. That’s not bad for a R50 deposit, and it’s a return of 25 percent on your investment.
Overview
The basic idea is that you have to do a very small amount of math to potentially save yourself a significant amount of money. This calculation will tell you exactly how good or bad of a deal you have on your hand, and this paints a clear picture that’s easy for any player to understand.
