Online Casinos Accepting Payz
ecoPayz, the online banking solution and ewallet that’s been around since 2000 is having a little facelift done. They’re rebranding and are now going by Payz. It’s clean, simple, and does what it says on the tin; pay anyone, anywhere, anytime.
If you’re worried about your existing account disappearing with this change, don’t. For the most part, everything will remain as it’s been for the past 23 years. They plan on releasing new features and products in the future that will further assist their customers in the digital space. You can think of this rebrand as being similar to when Facebook became Meta.
If ecoPayz was your favourite online banking ewallet, it’s still going to be. If you hadn’t even heard of them before or were a little curious but never fully committed, now is the perfect time to look into them as they’re working hard to create new, innovative, banking solutions.
Benefits Of Using Payz
- It’s exactly the same as ecoPayz, just a shorter name. It has the same user-friendly and intuitive U.I. will help you navigate your wallet and transactions.
- It’s an established ewallet provider. While Payz only came online in 2023, its framework and predecessors have been around since 2000. The experience is there and they’ve been through the growing pains.
- It’s an ewallet service so it’s generally safer to use online than your raw banking details. Creating a buffer zone between your bank account and your online purchases is always a smart move when transacting through cyberspace.
- New features and products are in the pipeline, your overall user experience should increase as they roll out these new products.
Any Disadvantages?
Well, since this is a rebrand, it’ll be interesting to see if any places that used ecoPayz have to work out new contacts and deals to continue using the service. If that is the case, these establishments might drop the method while new contracts are agreed upon.

How To Make A Deposit Using Payz At An Online Casino?
Making a deposit at an online casino using Payz will be just as simple as when it was still ecoPayz. By following these simple steps, you’ll be ready to start playing some of your favourite games in no time at all.
You can consider this to be step 0, you’ll need to have made, and at some online casinos verified, an account in order to start making a deposit.
Step 1 – Selecting Payz
After having navigated to the cashier tab at your online casino of choice that offers the service, search for the Payz option.
Step 2 – Entering / Selecting Your Amount
Once you’ve located Payz as a banking option, enter the amount that you wish to deposit or select one of the pre-determined amounts. Keep in mind that most online casinos have a minimum and maximum deposit amount.
Step 3 – Confirmation
When you’re happy with the amount that you’re about to deposit, click on the button to proceed and you’ll then be asked to enter and confirm some details. After you’ve followed the on-screen prompts, your transaction should be done and you can be on your way to enjoy the online establishment’s offerings.
How To Cashout Your Funds Using Payz
The process to withdraw your funds is as simple as it is to deposit.
Note: Before we begin, it’s important to note that most online casinos require you to verify your identity before you’re able to make a withdrawal. This usually means sending through:
- A copy of your I.D.
- A copy of utility bills or proof of address.
- The payment method used.
- Or any other method of identification.
All online casinos require different information so just be wary of that when attempting a withdrawal. You can read our casino reviews to discover what information is needed.
Step 1 – Selecting Payz
Much like making a deposit, it all starts with the cashier. After you’ve selected the withdraw option, have a look for the Payz option.
Step 2 – Entering / Selecting Your Amount
Once you’ve selected Payz as your preferred method, enter the amount that you wish to withdraw from your account. Keep in mind that most online establishments have a minimum and maximum withdrawal limit.
Step 3 – Confirmation
When you’re happy with the amount that you wish to withdraw from your account, go ahead and click on the button to proceed. You’ll be asked to enter your account information. Once you’ve done so, follow the on-screen prompts to complete your withdrawal. Note that it might take between 48 – 72 working hours for the withdrawal to reflect in your account.
Payz App
The Payz app will be changed to the Payz app. All of your account settings and information will remain the same but the look and feel of it might differ. At the time of writing, the Payz app currently has a 3.5-star review from ~1,000 reviews on the Google Play store.
Banking Fees
Depending on the current level of your account, fees can range between 1.50% to 3% depending on where you are transferring your funds to and from.
History Of Payz
Payz has been on a journey of change ever since it first started in 2000. It started its journey as EcoCard, providing the world with one of the very first ewallet banking solutions.
From there, they rebranded into ecoPayz in 2013. With this rebrand came a whole host of new features and products such as ecoAccount, ecoCard, Business and Merchant Accounts, and others. It was here that most users became familiar with the brand and their online offerings.
Fast forward 10 years, from 2013 to 2023, they have rebranded again. This time they’re dropping the eco prefix and are now referred to simply as ‘Payz’. Like with the ecoPayz rebrand before it, this new chapter of their journey is bound to have new features and products on the market for their customers to use.
Payz Security
There are a few different layers that go into keeping your information safe while using Payz. They use electronic, operational, and physical security measures in conjunction to make absolutely sure that your account is secure.
Transactions are encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol whenever they are made. They are compliant with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Data Security Standards (DSS) regulations and guidelines.
While they do have measures in place to secure your funds and keep them safe, it’s always important to make sure that you transact safely online. If you are unsure about something online, rather stay away from it. Create strong passwords that are different from others that you might use, and make sure to update that password on a regular basis.
Customer Support & Contact Details
You’ll be able to reach out to the customer support team whenever you’d like by using the contact form on their website. As soon as you’ve submitted your form, a member of the team will contact you as soon as they can.
If you feel as though your query might be a frequently asked one, have a look through their F.A.Q. section and see if it’s on the list.
Payz FAQ’s
What fees are involved when using Payz?
You should expect to pay anywhere between 1.5% - 3% when using the service depending on your current wallet level.
What type of payment solution is Payz now?
They are still primarily an ewallet. They have a few other payment methods that can be used as well such as vouchers.
Will I be able to use ZAR when transacting through Payz?
Yes. The ZAR has been an accepted currency since 2018.
Will the way ecoPayz operates change after the rebrand to Payz?
No. You’ll be able to transact the way you have been doing.
Will my ecoPayz account be lost due to the Payz rebrand?
No. Your account and all of the information in it will be the same as it was before.
It is typically the alternative to Skrill and Neteller and have basically the same fees. It is safe but I rather use Skrill which has a little less fees. I do not understand why they keep changing and highing the fees instead of trying to improve and reduce them to attract players.
EcoPayz rebranded to Payz! Excited for all the updates that are coming along with it!
Due to RECENT CHANGES in regulatory requirements, customers residing in Ontario are temporarily not able to make purchases with online websites directly from their ecoPayz accounts. Which means you will only be able to transfer the funds back to your bank, and that alone costs about $15 CAD, so – AVOID EcoPayz ya’ll. This is infuriating!
I am using ecoPayz for some years now, and sure that ecoPayz is much better than Neteller and Skrill.
They seem to be trying to diversify the payment methods like prepaid card, offline coupons, etc, and also ATM machines in some countries. And they added BTC deposit recently, but not installed trading to increase the fees like Neteller and Skrill. Maybe they might add it in the future, but until now they seem to focus on their generic business.
Most of fees are much lower that Neteller and Skrill too.
i like ewallet ecopays and online banking
I like this ewallet, and have been using it for years ever since they were called EcoCard.
Their debit card works like a charm and the only thing i would like to see is even more casinos offering this solution
ecopayz is a safe system but the fee’s are really high…
EcoPayz is good alternative to Skrill/Neteller.
Having an EcoCard prepaid card is the best. Easy withdrawals at the ATMs and an e-wallet to shop and deposit online.
