Space Theme, Animation and Sound

The game draws on classic space-themed pop culture, so you may spot a few references. Two crew members sit in floating chairs with screens close to their faces, looking out of a massive window at twinkling stars. Movement on winning symbol drops is well done too.

The background music is a remixed version of classic space exploration tunes, and the sound effects guide your attention across the grid. Anticipation is handled well: when two bonus symbols land, the game slows down while the music builds, and the remaining symbols land one by one rather than as whole reels.

Symbols and Wilds

The low-paying symbols are the card values J, Q, K and A. The high-paying icons are a computer, a ray gun, a smaller ship, and the male and female crew members. The two crew members can appear as a stacked symbol, taking up most or all of a reel.

Troubles are furry little aliens that spread across the grid. Once they reach a certain point they attach to newly dropped symbols and turn them all into matching images.

The Wild substitutes for any other common icon. When a Wild is part of a win, it expands upwards and downwards to cover non-winning symbols. A Locked Wild stays on its reel for the number of drops shown on the lock.

Cool Reel and Bonus Drops

As in most cascading slots, winning symbols are removed to make space for new ones. An extra row sits above the grid, called the Cool Reel, and holds both paying and feature symbols. If a win occurs underneath it before new symbols land, the Cool Reel icons drop onto the grid first.

The Scatter comes as the Bonus and the Super Bonus, and 3 or more landing on a single symbol drop trigger a bonus feature. Three Scatters award 10 bonus drops, while 4, 5 and 6 award 15, 20 and 25. A persistent multiplier applies during the bonus drops and can increase under special circumstances.
