Pirots 2 by ELK Studios Review

Pirots 2 is an animal-themed video slot from ELK Studios played on a 6×6 grid that can expand to 8×8, with a theoretical RTP of 94%. It offers Wilds, scatters, Free Spins, symbol collections, Cascading Reels and a Buy feature, with a top payout of 10,000x the bet. Read on for the specs, features and our verdict.

Pirots 2 is the follow-up to an ELK Studios game that was popular with experienced players, and this sequel looks set to keep that following. The sections below cover how the grid works, which features to look out for and where you can play it.

Pirots 2 Slot Specs

The RTP is a theoretical, long-run figure, so it says nothing certain about any single session. For more, see our explainer on what RTP means.

Visual Effects and Paytable Motifs

Colourful gems fill the lower part of the paytable, while different kinds of parrots represent the highest-paying icons. Alongside regular Wild symbols, scatters help you activate the bonus round of free spins. The graphics are bright and polished, which is a large part of the slot’s appeal.

Grid, Bets and Expansion

Pirots 2 uses a large 6×6 grid. Its main mechanic is grid expansion: during play the grid can grow up to an 8×8 layout, which gives you more room to build winning combinations. Bets range from 0.01 to 5, and the 94% RTP is paired with a top payout of 10,000x the bet.

Wilds, Cascading Reels and Free Spins

As in most slots, Wild symbols help you form more winning combinations by replacing all other icons except scatters.

Whenever you form a winning combination, the Cascading Reels feature replaces the winning symbols with new ones, so you can chain several wins from a single spin.

The Free Spins bonus is triggered through scatters. If you would rather not wait for it, the Buy feature lets you activate the bonus round instantly for a set amount of credits.

Our Verdict on Pirots 2

Pirots 2 can feel a little complicated at first, but it is a well-balanced game with a wide selection of bonus features that can reach up to 10,000x the bet. The 94% RTP is on the low side, so it suits players who want expanding grids and big-win potential more than steady returns.
