Flying Over The Triangle
As the early morning dew still glistens outside in San Diego on June 6th, 1953 cargo flight KS-17 makes a distressed call to the flight control tower. They’re heading toward Osaka, Japan with a cargo hold full of gold, but something isn’t right. Shortly after the call is made the plane simply vanishes, with no trace of it ever existing in the first place.
It’s been quite some time since that fateful day in 1953. Will Kane, the hero of our story, be able to locate the ruins of this presumably downed aircraft and uncover the gold that’s aboard? This doesn’t inherently feel like an ELK Studios game right off the bat, it doesn’t feel like it would fit in with their other slot games.
The first thing that you’ll notice about this title after loading in is the intensity of the music. It fits the theme well while giving you an uneasy feeling. That feeling of unease is amplified should you leave the game idle for a while. A recording of the conversation that the pilot had with the air traffic control tower operator starts to play.
For a brief moment, while the symbols are dropping, you get to see the downed cargo ship on a small little island. It looks intact and could still have the gold on board. The grid is essentially the wings from another aircraft that met its end here. It’s holding up the symbols that fall into place.

Look For The Signs
There are three tiers of symbols in this game. There are low, medium, and high paying icons that you’ll get familiar with pretty quickly. Let’s go over them.
To start, we have low-paying images. These will be the easiest to identify since they are represented by face card values. You’ll be seeing J, Q, K, and A appear quite often during your expedition.

Island Magic

Power Stacks are a collection of 4 or more identical symbols. During each avalanche cycle that it isn’t a part of, it will increase its stack by 2.

Bonus Drops trigger when at least 3 Scatters land during a single drop. Landing 3 will award an initial 10 drops but landing 4, 5, or 6 will net you 15, 20, or 25 bonus drops respectively.
