The game gives off an immediate mad doctor’s laboratory feel, which is great because that’s exactly where we are. Steam rises from the hot machinery from down below while blue electricity sparks across the various implements. The background alone is enough to sell the premise which is always fantastic for games with a story.
The grid looks like it was made out of the castle wall. Above the grid sits a tube with an additional row of four tiles that spin alongside the main grid. The tube is used for a bonus feature that we’ll get into in just a little bit.
Music and animation is superb, there is a curious feel to the soundtrack that plays which is great as it adds to the overall aesthetic of the game.
