Theme & Symbols
From the moment this video slot game opens you’ll recognise that you’re in for an 80’s nostalgia trip. The blend of the neon and the font is a dead giveaway that you’ve been taken back in time.
The game starts up on a fairground, there are people having the time of their lives on a rollercoaster off in the distance. A Ferris wheel lights up and slowly spins around to the right-hand side of the grid. There’s a stretch of food stands that flank the grid on either side, you won’t be left wanting snacks during your time with this game. We then come to the most noticeable element in this title, the full moon. The moon does more than look pretty and turn our teens into werewolves, it also displays the current multiplier.
Animations are fantastic, symbols have idle animations that give the title life. Icons move regardless of winning combinations and the background has people enjoying the fair. The music is also great, it adds so much to the title as well, the 80’s audio is brilliant and gives the game character.
The grid is pretty basic but that’s fine, the symbols move around so much that the basic grid formation allows you to appreciate the symbols more.
Developer Play’n GO has created an incredible teen wolf experience with this title. The setting and music are superb and the level of effort that went into creating the symbols and artwork is outstanding.
We’ll start off with the low-paying icons first. These are all represented by high school jersey looking playing card values. You should expect to see 10, J, Q, K and A quite frequently as you play the game.
Next up are the high-paying symbols, these are represented by our human teens namely Chris, Mike and Jess. These stacked symbols are the ones that you’ll want to keep an eye out for as you spin the reels.
The Scatter is represented by a wolf’s badge. By landing enough Scatters you’ll trigger a unique gameplay feature.
A stacked Werewolf Academy movie poster represents this game’s Wild. The Wild can substitute for any other common icon in the game, allowing you to build winning combos with ease.
Online Betting Options & Features
The Wild Class is a 5 – reel, 3 – row video slot game developed by Play’n GO. There are a total of 20 fixed paylines for you to build wins on and the RTP for this title sits at around 96.20%.
Should a full stack of the same symbol occupy an entire reel, the win multiplier increases by 1.
By landing 3 or more Scatters you’ll activate Blood Moon Spins. During these spins, depending on how many Scatters landed, a random teen will transform into a werewolf. 3 Scatters triggers Fury and only one teen will change, 4 Scatters will activate Carnage and 2 teens will transform and 5 Scatters will enable Rampage and all three teens will change. During Blood Moon Spins, the win multiplier doesn’t reset meaning you can max out the multiplier pretty quickly. Each additional Scatter that lands will add an extra bonus spin up to a maximum of 30. When a teen transforms their werewolf version acts and pays out like a Wild.
