Who To Avoid At The Border
There are lots of things that you want to avoid at the border, things like dangerous animals and even deadlier cartel members. In total, there are eight symbols in the paytable and six special icons that you’ll want to see hit the grid.
Starting off, we have low-paying images. Represented by the wildlife that’s trying to get you, you’ll be seeing scorpions, rattlesnakes, and vultures.
Next up, are the high-paying symbols. Represented by border security and the cartel, you’ll want to land winning combinations using a woman, a convict, a soldier, a sheriff, and the cartel leader. The big boss is the highest-paying common icon on the pay table.
When an xWays symbol lands on the grid, it will transform into either 2 full symbols or 4 half symbols. If multiple xWays land at the same time, they will reveal the same symbol.
The xSplit symbol can only land on reels 2 – 6. Should one hit the grid, it will travel to the left, splitting any symbol it comes into contact with. When the splitting is complete, the xSplit will turn into a Wild.
The Wild will substitute for any other common icon in the game, allowing you to extend already existing combinations or form entirely new ones.
The xNudge Cluster Wild can nudge itself up or down in order to join a winning cluster. Each tile that it moves up or down, it will increase the progressive multiplier by 1.
The xBomb symbol is Wild and will remove adjacent symbols when it explodes, except for the Scatter and other Wilds.
By hitting a certain number of Scatters during a single symbol drop, you’ll trigger the bonus gameplay feature.
Getting To The Other Side
The Border is a cascading online slot game that is played on a 6×6 board. Wins are determined by matching clusters. Clusters are formed when five or more matching symbols are touching either horizontally or vertically.

Dodging Them All
Each time a winning spin lands on the grid, the matching symbols will explode into a nondescript white powder. When that happens, more symbols will fall into place. These cascades will continue until no new win can be made.
Hitting 6 Scatters during a single symbol drop will trigger Mule Spins. During this feature, the ‘x’ special symbols will behave differently and affect more symbols. HItting additional Scatters will upgrade the spins into Coyote Spins.
Landing 7 or more Scatters during a single drop will award Coyote Spins. During these spins, xWays symbols will affect all cluster symbols. xBombs will also add their value to the progressive multiplier.
For an additional 50% of your bet, you’ll be able to activate the Boosted xRip feature. When this option is turned on, you are guaranteed to land at least 1 Scatter on the first reel.
