The audio is a low beat that keeps building but never crescendos. Only a win, a feature trigger or the anticipation event brings the music to a head.

Each fighter is unique, with their character shown through the artwork alone, and the in-game animations help point out anything notable on the grid.

Symbols and Paytable

Twelve symbols can land on the grid. Ten are common and pay according to the paytable when they form a winning cluster. The other two are special and change how the game plays.

The low-paying icons are the card values 10, J, Q, K and A, drawn as iron symbols with more blood splattered on them as their value rises. The K and the A pay the most in this group.

The high-paying symbols are the fighters: Big Fatty, Ironjaw, One Glove Man, The Constrictor and Little Dragon. Little Dragon is the highest-paying common symbol.

Wilds substitute for any other common icon. A Wild also explodes into an X shape on the grid, removing symbols (except other Wilds and Scatters) so new icons can fall into place, and it raises the win multiplier for the following collapse. Roundhouse Kick and Title Fight Features

A Roundhouse Kick triggers in the base game when 3, 4, 5 or 6 of the same paying symbol line up diagonally with no winning combination. The triggering symbols are removed and a Wild lands in the centre. Symbols numbering 3, 4, 5 or 6 produce 1, 2, 3 or 4 Wilds respectively.

Three Scatters trigger the Title Fight and the grid shifts. You take on a series of fighters to challenge Wai ‘Little Dragon’ Lee, and each uppercut symbol deals 1 point of damage. Every opponent has a set number of hit points, and after the first 4 fights the final opponent, Little Dragon, has unlimited health.

Each rival you beat earns a Title Belt with its own mechanic, such as multipliers, symbol transformations and sticky Wilds.
