The discovery of the snake temple, Cobra, set the archaeological world on fire and since then, rumours of other temples started to spread. It turns out at least one of those rumours is true as deep in the jungles of Indonesia a second temple has been discovered!

In A Deep Dark Jungle
The sounds of snakes fill your ears as the title loads you in. Brushing past the dense foliage the temple reveals itself to you. Once you gather your bearings and the grid is entirely in view you’ll notice four snake statues sitting on top of the grid looking down rather menacingly.
The game presents itself rather nicely but there are areas that could be improved on, for example, there are no background animations which is a bit of a letdown considering everything that could’ve been done given the theme.
Audio within the game is fantastic, it really makes you feel as though you are in some sinister situation deep within a foreboding jungle. The effects in this online release sound as though they have weight which is great considering most symbols are made of stone.
For those that have played the first Cobra title and enjoyed it, this release is more of the same. There are features that are new which make the game fresh and interesting to play while still maintaining that familiar feel.

Stone Medallions
There are twelve symbols which can appear within this title. Seven of these images are common and will pay out according to the paytable should a matching cluster form on the grid. The remaining five are special and each has its own unique ability and way to interact with the grid.
We’ll start by examining the low-paying images first. These are all represented by stone animal medallions. You had better get used to seeing a Green Turtle, Blue Lizard, and Brown Monkey appearing on the grid while you drop symbols. The Brown Monkey medallion is the low-paying image with the highest value.
Moving on to the high-paying symbols, there are various gems which are worth quite a bit. Be on the lookout for an Emerald Triangle, a Sapphire Rhombus, a Ruby Hexagon, and a Gold Mask. The Gold Mask is the highest-paying common icon in the entire game so make sure that you give it the respect it deserves.
Moving on to the Mysterious Orchids that can sprout onto the grid. There are four of them; the Red Blood Orchid, the Blue Ouroboros Orchid, Purple Hydra Orchid, and the Green Rebirth Orchid. We’ll go into the specifics of what they do a little bit later on.
Finally, we come to the Wild. This symbol will substitute for any other common icon in the game, allowing you to build winning clusters relatively easier or possibly even extend already existing clusters if you’re lucky enough.
Temple Architecture
The grid on which you’ll be playing has a 4-3-4-3-4-3-4-3-4-3-4-3-4 set up which totals 46 tiles. Wins are determined by matching clusters of symbols. In order for a cluster to be valid, at least 5 matching symbols need to land connected.
Bets which can be placed are able to range from 0.20 – 100 coins per spin. The highest achievable win that can be obtained through gameplay is 25,000x the bet.
The theoretical return to player rating for this title is 94% which is pretty low, while the volatility is high. Keep all of this in mind should you decide to play with real money.
Power Of The Orchid
Whenever a winning cluster of images appears on the grid, those matching symbols will be removed from the grid. Existing symbols will then roll in and fill the space left behind. New images will then fall in to occupy all of the remaining space. These cascades will continue until no new win can be formed.
We briefly mentioned the different orchids, let’s go through how each one can affect the game.
- Blood Orchid: Should any other orchid be on the grid at the same time as this one, this orchid will spawn a snake to slither across the grid. Should it get eaten by a snake, it will spawn a random number of new snakes.
- Ouroboros Orchid: A snake that eats this orchid can then bite itself to generate Multiplier Wilds during one move.
- Hydra Orchid: Any snake that eats this orchid will sprout a new head which, in turn, creates a new snake.
- Rebirth Orchid: Any snake that eats this orchid is revived when killed.
Whenever matching symbols are removed from the grid, they are sent to the Snake Meter. When the meter gets halfway, you will receive a random number of Wilds which are scattered across the grid. Complete the meter and you will trigger the Snakes Feature.
During the Snake Feature, a number of snakes can appear from the six positions around the grid. These snakes will have a random symbol on its head which they will try and eat. Each symbol it passes over while it slithers across the grid will transform into that designated symbol. If a snake crosses over another snake’s path, where the two meet will form a Multiplier Wild. If a snake fails to eat one of its selected symbols, Wild, orchid, or bites itself, it will die and be removed from the grid.
