Theme & Symbols

The game is considered to have a crypto theme to it but there’s so much more to it than just that. Sure, the main characters are called Crypto Punks and the low-paying symbols are represented by cryptocurrencies but that’s the extent of it. Look past it and you’ll see a futuristic and almost dystopian world. The NFT portion of the game plays a huge role in the game as well, if you’re familiar with internet culture you’ll recognise the Twitter logo, Tesla’s Cybertruck, the Doge meme and much more.

The background to this title is great, there are constant animations with cars flying by, holographic billboards pushing products and Crypto Punk Nyan Cats flying around leaving behind their signature rainbows.

The music is incredible, it fits the game so well, the only downside to it is that when the game idles for even a brief moment the music subsides. It’s accurate to the theme where if you aren’t doing something 100% you aren’t even doing it but still, it would’ve been nice if it was a constant backtrack.

The level of detail in this game is outstanding. When symbols are a part of a win they animate with unique movements. For example, if the Doge symbol is part of a win, the dog puts on a space helmet and blasts off, referencing when Dogecoin was heading to the moon. Another fun animation is when the Cybertruck is part of a win, hammers come out and try to bash it, referencing the famous Cybertruck demonstration.

Symbols

As we mentioned before, the low-paying icons in this game are represented by four real world cryptocurrencies. The logos of Dogecoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin are the symbols that you’ll be seeing most often as you spin the reels.
