In The Lab
The title opens up with a beautifully animated 3D sequence which depicts one of the crewmates loading up her weapon and firing off a round. That round then morphs into the Money Train and the game picks up from there. It’s a nice flow of events that has truly been animated well.
The audio is the same desperate tune that you’d be familiar with if you have played the previous two entries. There is a subtle futuristic remix that kicks in on winning spins, but unfortunately, it doesn’t play throughout the whole experience.
There are some pretty stellar background animations that help bring the game to life. Steam rises from the workroom floor, extractor fans rotate, and light will occasionally flicker. These all come together to make the game feel real and believable. In-game animations are great, each symbol has a unique movement that will play on winning spins, giving you further motivation to land matching combinations.
The layout is what we’ve come to expect from Money Train titles, essentially, if you’ve played one previously, just imagine that but in the future.

Familiar Yet Different Faces
During the base game, there are ten symbols that you’ll hopefully be seeing hit the grid. Eight of those icons belong to the paytable, each of them is common and they’re split into subcategories of icons. The remaining two images are specials that will, with some luck, enhance your experience.
Starting with the four low-paying images, we have playing card suits. As you spin the reels, you should expect a few diamonds, clubs, hearts, and spades to appear on the various tiles. The spade is the highest-paying of the low-paying group.
Next up, the crew members which represent the high-paying icons. They are colour-coded in the exact same way as the low-paying ones, so they increase in value from blue, green, orange, and red. The Red border is the highest paying of the group.
The Wild will substitute for any other common paying image in the game, meaning that you’ll be able to build bigger and better combos with ease or potentially even start entirely new ones.
By hitting three or more bonus symbols during a single spin, you will trigger the bonus gameplay feature.
Train Operations
Money Train 3 is an online video slot game that is played on a grid consisting of 5-reels and 4-rows. When the reels spin, each individual tile spins independently. In total, there are 40 fixed pay lines on which you can construct winning combos.
The theoretical return to player rating for this title is 96.10% with volatility that has been marked as being very high.
Bets can range from 0.10 – 10 coins per spin with the highest achievable win being a massive 100,000x your bet.
Perks Of The Train
At the end of any spin that doesn’t result in a win, the Re-Spin Feature has a chance to trigger. When it does, one of the visible symbols on the board will be randomly chosen. The chosen symbol will become sticky and all instances of that symbol will remain on the grid. During the spin, only blank symbols and copies of the selected icon can land. Should another symbol land, the re-spin counter is reset and will spin again. Multipliers of up to x3 have an opportunity to land as well. The feature ends when no new symbol lands.
Hitting a minimum of 3 Scatters will trigger the Money Cart Bonus. When the feature starts, the triggering symbols will reveal a value which will be used as the multiplier for the round, 3 spins are then awarded. When a reel is filled with symbols, an additional reel becomes available, this can occur a maximum of two times.
There are additional bonus symbols that can appear during the bonus round, those symbols include:
- Value Symbol: Will reveal a value of between x1 – x10 the bet.
- Collector: The collector symbol will collect the value of all symbols with values and add them to his own sum.
- Sniper: The sniper will double the values of between 3 – 8 symbols, sometimes hitting the same symbol multiple times.
- Collector – Payer: This icon will select the values of between 3 – 5 value symbols, add that number to itself and then add that value to its targets.
- Necromancer: Will reactivate 2 – 7 previously used special symbols that are currently on the grid.
- Absorber: This will remove all non-special icons currently on the grid.
- Tommy Gun Sniper: This will pick one random symbol and double its value between 2 – 6 times.
- Tommy Gun Payer: Reveals a value from x5 – x100 then picks a random symbol to add the value to between 3 – 10 times.
- Persistent Symbols: Persistent symbols of the Collector, Sniper, Collector-Payer, and Necromancer can appear on the grid, remaining on its tile and triggering on each spin. There is also the persistent shapeshifter which will turn into a different special symbol on each spin.
