In this battle of cold and hot, you’ll be commanding two grids at the same time. Watch as they spin together but land with different results. While they might be separate, they’ll sometimes work together thanks to some of the game’s features.

Dry Ice
This online release has some cool visuals to it but after their initial viewing, there really isn’t too much to them. On the left-hand side of the screen there is a deep blue ice sheet and on the right is an orange inferno. Both grids are outlined in their respective colours and that’s all there really is to it. There aren’t any background animations to further reinforce the polar opposites on-screen which is a bit of a letdown.
You’ll be seeing the same symbols on both grids just with aesthetic changes to match their side’s temperature. The graphics and visuals are wonderful but again, a little more could’ve gone into the movements within this title.
The audio is rather generic and doesn’t do much to try and fit in with the theme. If you’ve heard the sounds made by previous RTG slots, you’ve heard these ones as well.
This title has a lot of potential. While more could’ve been done in terms of presentation, the bonus features make up for some of it. If you’re looking for a game that’ll have you hot and cold at the same time, give this one a try for fun.
Symbols That Are Icy Hot
There are nine symbols that can appear on the grids. As we mentioned previously, the symbols are the same, they just have their appearances changed. There are six common icons which will pay out according to the paytable should they appear on the grid. Then there are three more symbols which are special and will potentially trigger features if they appear.
We’ll start with the low-paying images first. These are represented by classic slot game icons and as such, you should expect to see BAR, Double BAR, and Triple BAR appearing on the grid fairly frequently. The Triple BAR is the highest-valued image in this group.
Next up, the high-paying images. Sticking to the classic casino theme, you’ll want to keep an eye out for different coloured 7’s. What’s important to note is that the Light Blue 7 and the Orange 7 are the highest-valued common icons in the game.
An Orange and Blue ‘W’ is the Wild of this title. The Wild will substitute for any other common icon in the game which will allow you to create even bigger wins or potentially even brand new ones that otherwise wouldn’t have been able to form.
The Scatter is represented by the ‘Free Games’ symbol. Hitting at least three of these on a single grid during a single spin will trigger the bonus gameplay feature.
Finally, we have the Bonus Wheel. Much like the Scatter, hitting 3 of these on a single gameboard will trigger the Bonus Wheel feature.
Across Two Grids
This title has two 3×3 grids that are in play. Each grid has 10 fixed pay lines that can be used to construct winning combinations on. Both grids spin at the same time and the reels come to a stop at the same time. Wins don’t extend across the grids.
Bets that can be placed are able to range from 0.10 – 10. Volatility is medium and the highest achievable win that can be obtained through paid spins is 50,000x the bet
Spin That Wheel!
Should a stack of Wilds land on one of the grids, the Transferring Wilds Feature will activate. When this happens, the stack of Wilds will be transferred to the corresponding reel of the opposite grid.
If you’re able to land 3 Bonus Wheel symbols on a single spin, you will trigger the Bonus Wheel Feature. During this feature, you will be able to give the wheel a spin and have it land on one of the following prizes:
