Colours, Lights and Sound

When the game loads, a square box on the grid wiggles about as if dancing to the tunes. That box is the Dancing Wilds Hotspot, covered below.

Besides what is on the grid, there are no persistent animations, and some disco lights or shifting colours would have made it feel funkier. Inside the grid, though, the disco ball Wilds shine, winning symbols pop and the cascades are satisfying to watch.

The soundtrack is a little goofy and does not quite fit the theme. If you let the game idle, the music calms down and picks back up when you spin again. It is not terrible, but it could be funkier.

Symbols: Disco Balls, Wilds and Multiplier Bombs

There are only three kinds of symbol to follow: paying symbols, multipliers and Wilds.

Paying symbols: seven disco balls in blue, purple, turquoise, pink, green, yellow and orange.
Wild: a rainbow disco ball that substitutes for any other common icon. When a Wild is part of a win, it moves horizontally or vertically and stays on the grid during the cascade.
Multiplier bombs: red bombs worth x2, x3, x5 or x10. If two or more land in the same symbol drop, they add together and multiply any win by the sum.

Dancing Wilds Hotspot and Bonus Spins

The hotspot is a 2×2 box that moves every spin. You unlock its pieces by landing winning clusters inside it, and unlocking all of them awards one dancing Wild. In the bonus spins, the hotspot grows to 3×3.

Three or more dancing Wilds on the grid at once trigger the bonus spins feature, which awards 6 bonus spins. The grid starts the feature at 9 rows instead of 8. Each time you unlock every position on the hotspot during the bonus spins, the grid gains another row, up to a cap of 12 rows.
