True Kult – Online Slot By Nolimit City

True Kult is a dark, occult-themed video slot from Nolimit City played on a 5-reel, 3-row grid with 243 ways to win and a theoretical RTP of 96.06%. A sixth reel unlocks when at least 2 Scatters land, bringing in Tarot Multipliers of up to x99. Read on for the specs, symbols and features before you play.

Nolimit City is known for gritty, horror-style slots, and this one is not for the faint of heart. With tarot cards, cult leaders, blood sacrifices and features that seem almost too good to be true, it is worth skipping if you are sensitive to occult imagery. If you want to try it before committing, a free demo account is a sensible first step, and the game also runs on mobile.

True Kult Slot Specs

The RTP is a theoretical, long-run figure, so it says nothing certain about any single session. For more on how this works, read our explainer on what RTP means.

Theme and Graphics: A Cult Gathering in a Grassy Field

The game starts in a grassy field. You take the point of view of a cult member looking down at the grid, with the bare feet of your fellow members around it. The symbols on display are suitably harrowing, and the animations for symbol activations and big wins are smooth and tell a horrific story.

The Wild has its own burning animation, so it is hard to miss when it lands. When the bonus feature activates, the mood leans towards a folk-horror film, and you might find yourself half hoping it stays away.

Symbols: Tarot Cards, Devotees and the Ouija Board Scatter

The Scatter is shown as an Ouija Board searcher, and how many land on the grid in a single spin decides which feature activates. The Wilds are flaming images that substitute for any other common icon. The remaining symbols are tarot cards marked K, U, L, T and a Symbol, plus Devotee symbols, which are five members of the cult.

Features: Baptism by Fire, Seance and Sacrifice

The game is played on a 5-reel, 3-row grid with 243 ways to win, and a 6th reel unlocks when at least 2 Scatters appear on the grid before the spins end. When that reel is open, Tarot Multipliers can land: x5, x10, x15, x20, x25, x50 and x99.

• Baptism by Fire: activates when burning mystery symbols appear on the grid. They can reveal a random Devotee symbol or a Scatter.
• Seance Bonus: triggered by landing 3 Scatters. All Seeing Eye frames appear on the grid and split any symbols that land in them in half. The frames move across the grid on each spin, and landing the Skull Wild awards an additional bonus spin.
• Sacrifice Bonus Mode: triggered by landing 4 Scatters. It works much like the Seance feature, except that symbol multipliers become sticky and stay for the entire feature.

You can also switch on the xBet option. With it on, you pay x3 the bet and are x4 times more likely to trigger the Seance feature and x6 times more likely to trigger the Sacrifice feature.

Our Verdict on True Kult

True Kult is a high-variance slot with a strong, unsettling atmosphere and a feature set built around the unlockable sixth reel and its Tarot Multipliers. It suits players who enjoy Nolimit City’s darker themes and are comfortable with big swings. Try the demo first to see whether the imagery and the features suit you.
