Rock ‘N’ Lock – Online Slot By Red Tiger Gaming

Rock ‘N’ Lock is a 1970s rock ‘n’ roll video slot from Red Tiger Gaming set outside a neon-lit Las Vegas record shop. It has 5 reels, 25 fixed paylines and a theoretical RTP of 95.69%, and its bonus spins feature uses sticky gold and platinum records. Read on for the specs, symbols and features.

Back in the 1970s, Elvis was packing stadiums and impersonation became an art form. Red Tiger takes that era and sets it in Las Vegas, as the sun starts to set over a bustling record shop bathed in neon.

RTP is a theoretical, long-run figure and says nothing certain about any one session. Read what RTP means, and see our guide to slot variance for what high volatility means.

Vegas Theme, Graphics and Sound

The background is gorgeous, and the art shown when symbols land is just as striking. The soundtrack is less consistent: the music only picks up when the bonus feature kicks in, and otherwise you get bits and pieces of a song while the reels spin, and silence when the game is idle. The visuals make up for it somewhat.

Overall the slot has Red Tiger’s classic style and would not look out of place among its other slots.

Symbols and Paytable

• Low-paying icons: neon playing card values 10, J, Q, K and A. The A pays the most in this group.
• High-paying icons: a guitar, a mic with headphones, a radio and a classic Cadillac.
• Wild: the Elvis lookalike substitutes for any other common icon, extending wins or forming new ones.
• Scatter: the gold and platinum records. They can land with a small number in the top right-hand corner that shows how many spins they stay locked on the reels.

Bonus Spins With Sticky Records

Having 3, 4 or 5 scatters on the reels at once awards 3, 4 or 5 bonus spins respectively. During the feature, only gold, platinum and blank records can land. Each gold or platinum record that lands becomes sticky and stays on the grid until the feature ends.

Each time a new record lands, the number of respins resets to the initial number awarded. Gold records can land with a value of 1x to 5x the bet, and platinum records with a value of 7x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x or 25x the bet. Each new record adds its value to the other records on the grid, and at the end of the feature the values of all records are added up and paid as a prize.

Our Verdict on Rock ‘N’ Lock

Rock ‘N’ Lock is simple and fun, and the sticky-record bonus spins are the highlight. The patchy soundtrack is a small letdown. Try it in a demo account first, and if you enjoy it, play it for real money at a casino you like.
