In fact, they’re essentially the exact same game with a few differences. One of the major differences between the two is that the two main characters are now foxes!
Mechanically the game is identical, so if you were a fan of the previous title you’ll enjoy this one as well. The new foxy characters add flavour to the title, they make it feel fresh and different rather than just a tired retrain.

In A Familiar Town
Right off the bat, the background to this title has been directly lifted from the previous title. It’s a little disappointing that nothing was done to make it feel more in line with the new fox-like look but ultimately it doesn’t really matter since it’s nothing game-breaking.
Similarly, the stances of the characters are nearly identical and the symbols themselves are actually identical. Again, it’s a shame that nothing was done to make the game fit its theme a little better.
There are still a few background animations which are nice, candles dance in the dusk sky and icons come to life in winning combinations. These have been changed up from the original, which is fantastic because it now feels like a fairly new game.
The audio is the same but to be fair it didn’t need to change, it fits the aesthetic really well and the sound effects are still just as potent. Anticipation effects are still in full force, landing two Scatters before the spins are over will bring the game’s tempo down and get you on the edge of your seat.
Ultimately, this game is essentially identical to the one that came before it. If that’s good or bad is up to you based on how you feel about that title. There have been a few other releases in between the previous title and this one so this game shouldn’t get lost amongst BGaming’s other slot titles.
Seeing Double
The icons in the game are exactly similar save for three of them. Those three include Fox Zorro, his love, and the bag of gold that now has an ‘F’ etched in the front. We’ll give you a refresher of the other symbols here.
To start, we have low-paying symbols. These are all represented by playing card values and so you should expect to see 10, J, Q, K, and A appearing on the reels quite often.
Next, we have the mid tier icons, these are all of the items that you’d immediately associate with Foxy. Be on the lookout for a hand fan, a hat, a rose, and that bag of gold.
Finally, we arrive at the high-paying symbols. These are the ones that you want to land on the reels. Keep an eye out for Foxy’s love, his guitar, and a fully stacked icon of Foxy himself.
The special heart Wilds make a return as well. Whenever a heart lands, it will mark the tile that it lands on with an active frame. All active frames will turn into Wilds after every 10th consecutive spin. It doesn’t matter if the heart landed on the 9th spin, it will become Wild on the next one.
Wilds will substitute for all other common icons in the game, allowing for bigger combinations to be built or for entirely new ones to form.
The black horse once again represents the Scatter for the title. Hit enough of these during a single spin and you’ll activate the bonus gameplay feature.
The Same Exquisite Moves
Foxy Wild Heart is played on a grid that consists of 5-reels and 4-rows. There are a total of 20 fixed pay lines that can be used to build winning combos. The theoretical return to player rate is around 96.93% with volatility being rated between medium and high. Bets can range from 0.20 – 50 coins per spin with the highest achievable win being 2,800x the bet.
‘F’ For Foxy
Hitting 3 Scatters during a single spin will trigger the bonus gameplay feature. During this feature, you’ll be awarded 10 bonus spins and during those bonus spins all Wilds that land on the grid become sticky until the end of the feature.
Should a heart symbol land in an already active frame, the multiplier for that spin will be increased by 1.
Same Wild Fun
Overall, this title does little to change things up from the previous iteration of the game. The release still manages to be fun and interesting with the Wild mechanic that it has going for it.
