Flaming Fox – Online Slot By Red Tiger Gaming

Flaming Fox is a ninja fox video slot from Red Tiger Gaming on a 5×3 grid with 10 fixed paylines, a theoretical RTP of 96.11% and high volatility. On random spins the fox runs across the reels, revealing a second high-value reel set and locking Wilds in place, and the top win is 3,333x the bet.

In Japanese folklore foxes are linked with intelligence and with the Shinto spirit Inari. This slot has the Flaming Fox greet you in a dojo-style training area with weapons and balls of string. When the fox opens its eyes, things get serious.

Flaming Fox Specs

RTP is a theoretical, long-run figure, not a promise for any single session. See what RTP means and our guide to slot variance.

Mischief and Mastery: Theme and Sound

Foxes are known as mischievous, but here the fox has full control of fire. Now and then you can see the master concentrating in the background, levitating above the mat. Background animation is minimal, though in-game animations are better: the special symbol comes with a strong audible and visual cue.

The music suits the Eastern folktale theme. One drawback is that the audio stops abruptly once the reels come to rest, which sounds rough if you are not spinning continuously. You can mute the game audio with one click. The theme does not take itself seriously, so it is easy to kick back and play.

Symbols and Paytable Basics

Twelve symbols can land on the grid: ten common icons that pay according to the paytable when a matching combination lands on a payline, and two special symbols that change how the game plays.

The low-paying icons are the playing card values 10, J, Q, K and A, with A the highest in the group. The high-paying icons are ninja gear: Black Boots, a Fox Mask, a Flaming Headwrap, a Searing Scroll and a Scorching Shield. The Shield is the highest-paying common icon.

The Wild substitutes for any common icon, which lets you form new combinations or extend existing ones. The Flaming Fox symbol is the Scatter.

The Flaming Fox Feature and Bonus Spins

On random spins the Fox can leave its meditation and run across the reels. When it does, it reveals a second high-value reel set and locks Wilds in place.

Hit 3 Scatter symbols anywhere on the grid in a single spin and the bonus spins trigger. All features and symbols on the grid that the Fox triggered are locked in place for the rest of the feature.
