Fortunate 5 Slot Review

Fortunate 5, a Pllaytech slot game, is named so for a couple of different reasons. The first being the fact that it focuses around five different characters; Captain Red Beard, Starboard Mary, Mad Dog McDougall, Monsieur Poisson and Peg Leg Davis.

In addition, there’s five jackpots incorporated as well. So, it really does give you the chance at a fortunate five. The game provides brief write-ups about each character, and it’s fitting that each character opens a door to a separate jackpot.

The main game features five reels and three rows, with a total of 15 different paylines spread out across the interface. The lines are not customisable, but the bet per line is, offering up a minimum of R0.20 and a maximum of R2.00 per line. Therefore, a total wager of R30.00 is able to be placed across all 15 lines. You’ll also find an autoplay button, allowing up to 99 consecutive spins of the reels.

Fortunate 5 Slot Specialities

Wild symbols are incorporated in the image of a pirate ship, and they will appear on reels two, three and four only. This symbol will substitute for all others, except scatters, to provide players with a winning combination.

Scatter symbols are offered up as a skull with two cutlasses underneath it. Three or more appearing on the reels in any position will take you to the Wild Waters freespins. This round features an unlimited amount of freespins, and any wilds appearing during this round are collected at the side of the reels. When five of the symbols have been collected, the Wild Storm Super Spin will begin. During this round, all collected pirate ships will be randomly spread out on the reels and freeze in place for a single spin.

If four of the same pirate symbols appear on an active line from left to right, the 2nd chance re-spin is triggered for a chance to create a five-of-a-kind jackpot win.

Conclusion

This game is a welcome addition to the vast plethora of slot games available online. The five different jackpots relating to each different character is a nice addition to the game, while the vivid imagery of being on a pirate ship at sea is enough to make anyone want to grab a hat and sword and shout, “haha, Mateys!”
