HappySpins Key Facts

These figures are shown exactly as the casino lists them, with no rand conversion, so check the cashier for the amounts that apply to your account.

HappySpins Welcome Bonus and Cashback

No bonus code is needed for these offers.

• South Africa welcome bonus: 200% match up to R3,000 on your first deposit. The minimum deposit is R300 and the wagering requirement is 30x the bonus. You have to wager with real money first, and the bonus funds stay locked until the wagering is met.
• Main international offer: 200% up to €1,000, with a €10 minimum deposit and 30x wagering.
• Daily cashback: 10% cashback, calculated daily on deposits made between 06:00 and 05:59 CET. It is paid into your real money balance with no wagering, and the maximum cash-out is €10,000.

Offers change, so check the casino’s promotions page before you deposit. Our guide to bonus terms and conditions explains how to read the fine print. A bonus is extra play money with conditions; it is not a guarantee of winnings.

HappySpins Software Providers

The software list is long. Names you will recognise include Nolimit City, Play’n GO, Red Tiger Gaming, NetEnt, ELK Studios, Evolution Gaming, Microgaming, Pragmatic Play, Push Gaming, Relax Gaming and Thunderkick.

Some games and providers are restricted in South Africa. There is no automatic filter, so the full list is visible but you may be refused when you try to open certain games.

Games You Can Play at HappySpins

Video slots make up the bulk of the library, with table and live dealer games alongside them.

Online Slots

• Tombstone RIP from Nolimit City is a dark Western with the studio’s signature 2, 3, 3, 3, 1 grid and a grab bag of bonus features and special symbols.
• Fire Hopper from Push Gaming is a cascading video slot about a frog that survives fire.
• Stars of Orion from ELK Studios is a cascading slot in which winning combinations disappear and new symbols roll into any gap.

Table Games

Table games come from studios such as NetEnt, 1x2gaming and Evolution Gaming, and include blackjack, baccarat, Dragon Tiger, roulette and keno.

Live Dealer Games

Live games are streamed in real time from the provider’s studio. Expect roulette, blackjack, poker, Andar Bahar and fortune wheels.

HappySpins Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

The banking methods listed for the casino include bank wire transfer, Visa and Mastercard (credit and debit), Skrill, Neteller, Payz, Paysafecard, MiFinity, CashtoCode, eZeeWallet and Klarna. For crypto, the list includes Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash; our crypto bonuses page covers the basics. For help choosing, see our guide to banking options for South African players.

The minimum deposit for the South African welcome offer is R300.

Verification Documents

Expect to be asked for a photocopy of your ID document (ID book or card, driving licence or passport) and a copy of a utility bill such as an electricity, water or landline phone bill. Send these early, as verification can take a few business days.

HappySpins Customer Support

Support is available through live chat, which is the fastest way to reach a consultant, and through the contact page on the casino’s website. Support staff are available Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.

Our Verdict on HappySpins

HappySpins suits players who want a very large game library, a rand welcome bonus and cashback that carries no wagering. Against that, the minimum deposit is €20 and the minimum withdrawal €50, and payouts can take several business days. Only play with money you can afford to lose.

1. HappySpins casino is a pretty straightforward site that allows you to experience everything you wish to. You can easily find what you need, especially their impressive game roster of slots and live dealer games. As promising as it may seem, I do think that the fact they are still new contributes to how some factors are still lacking on the site. They are already great but I do think it would be better if they can make their chat support available 24/7 rather than a few hours a day. That will make it more convenient to use for me.
