Cloudbet’s New Casino Category Turns Every Shot Into a Bet

An arcade-style ghost hunt is the starting point for Immersive World Betting, a new game category launched at Cloudbet Casino. Its first release, Fearshot: Phantom Mansion, gives players a haunted house to explore and supernatural targets to pursue, with every shot from their weapon counting as a separate wager.

Joy Studios created the exclusive Cloudbet Originals title. Players carry the Phantom Blaster as bounty hunters, deciding which ghosts to aim for before receiving an instant result from each shot.

Fearshot Combines $0.01 Wagers With a Stated 97% RTP

Fearshot’s announced minimum stake is $0.01 per shot, with the launch information quoting the amount in US dollars. The stake applies whenever the Phantom Blaster fires, so continuing the hunt involves placing further individual bets.

The game also lists a 97% RTP. This percentage describes its theoretical long-term return across a large volume of wagers. It does not indicate the probability of catching a particular ghost or predict how much a player will finish a session with.

Our guide to RTP explains how the percentage works and why it should be considered separately from the frequency of payouts.

Higher-Paying Ghosts Have Lower Capture Chances

The target selection introduces another decision beyond the amount staked. Ghost capture awards range from 1.1x to 350x, and the creatures have different probabilities of being caught.

Smaller ghosts are captured more frequently. The Inquisitor, which carries the largest capture award of 350x, is very rarely caught. Selecting it means accepting a lower capture probability while pursuing the higher potential return.

A ghost’s payout value therefore needs to be considered alongside its capture chance. Looking only at the largest multiplier leaves out an important part of how that target behaves.

For another example of how player choices can affect risk, our SPRIBE Plinko review explains how changes to its pegboard setup alter the payout distribution.

Soul Collector and Boss Awards Can Combine on One Shot

Capturing a ghost also adds its soul to the Soul Collector. The feature pays when it overflows, awarding up to 999x in addition to the return from the captured target.

A separate encounter takes place in the Secret Altar, where Sister Penance can appear on any shot. Her boss fight can award up to 350x, and a payout is possible even when the player does not defeat her.

Together, these features account for Fearshot’s 1,699x maximum single-shot payout. Reaching it requires the highest 350x ghost capture to coincide with the full 999x Soul Collector award and the maximum 350x boss payment.

That total is the game’s upper limit. Each component must reach its maximum on the same shot, so the figure should not be treated as an ordinary capture result.

Seven Haunted Rooms Give Players Different Hunting Locations

The mansion contains seven rooms, beginning with the Grand Foyer. The Toy Room and Library provide further locations, while players can also hunt in the Boiler Room, Kitchen and Dining Hall. The Secret Altar completes the setting and provides the location for Sister Penance’s encounter.

Among the residents are the Wailing Widow and the Drowned. Goodnight Dolly and Charlie Chatterbox also inhabit the house, with Chef DeVour joining the cast.

The characters give the bounty hunt its horror theme, while their capture values supply the betting choices. Within that setting, the Inquisitor stands out for its rare 350x capture, and the Secret Altar adds the possibility of a boss payout to an individual shot.
