9 Coins Grand Diamond Edition – Online Slot By Wazdan

9 Coins Grand Diamond Edition is a Hold the Jackpot style video slot from Wazdan, played on a 3×3 grid with a theoretical RTP of 96.15%. Golden coins, Cash Infinity symbols and a Treasure Chest collector drive the action, and the top win is 5,000x your bet. Read on for the specs, symbols and features before you play.

If you know Wazdan’s games, you will recognise the formula. You land Golden Coin symbols hoping to fill the middle row, and doing so triggers the Hold the Jackpot feature. Cash Infinity symbols, Treasure Chests and Mystery Symbols make up the rest of the cast.

9 Coins Grand Diamond Edition Slot Specs

RTP is a theoretical, long-run figure and says nothing certain about a single session. For more, read our guide to what RTP means, and see our introduction to slot variance for what very high volatility means in practice.

Theme, Graphics and Interface

The gorgeous coins appear from individually spinning tiles and shine brightly thanks to some neat animation work. A subtle golden glow sits behind each coin, and the grander the symbol, the brighter it shines. Icons come in several forms, from jackpot symbols and coin values to chests of coins and red Infinity images.

The colour scheme is simple, and it suits the theme. The shiny symbols contrast well against the dark background. The interface can look intimidating at first, but it is easy to follow and has plenty of customisation options. If you have played a Wazdan game before, you will feel at home. If you have not, it won’t take long to learn, and playing a demo first is a sensible way to get used to the layout.

Symbols and Prizes

There are no standard symbols in this game. Every symbol that lands is a coin, a jackpot, a collector or a mystery.

• Cash Infinity: coins with a red centre. One that lands becomes sticky and stays in place until the bonus feature is triggered, disappearing only when that feature ends. They award prizes of 5x – 15x the bet.
• Cash symbols: regular coins, with values from 1x – 10x the bet.
• Jackpot symbols: Mini, Minor and Major can land on the grid and are worth 10x, 20x and 50x the bet respectively.
• Treasure Chest: the Collector. When it lands with other symbols, it gathers all the coin values and multiplies the total by a value between 1x and 20x.
• Mystery Symbols: these transform into any other symbol except Cash Infinity. The Jackpot Mystery can only reveal one of the Jackpot symbols.

Hold the Jackpot and Cash Out Features

This is a 3×3 game with very high volatility, and the highest achievable win is 5,000x the bet.

Randomly, on any spin, a Cash Out frame can be added to a random tile on the grid. The frame can stay for up to 20 spins. Whenever bonus symbols land in it, their values are accumulated and paid out when the spin counter reaches 0. At payout, a random percentage of 10% – 100%, 150% or 200% is chosen and awarded from the accumulated amount.

Landing 3 symbols in the middle row triggers Hold the Jackpot. The triggering symbols become sticky and stay on the grid until the feature ends. You receive 3 re-spins, and each time a new symbol lands in an empty space it becomes sticky and the counter resets to 3. Fill all 9 spaces of the grid and the Grand Jackpot is awarded.

For an increased bet, you can improve your chances of triggering the bonus. The odds of activating the event can be raised by x2, x4, x6 or x10.
