When the game loads up and you click past the intro screen, the camera will pan slowly downwards so that you can see the abandoned ruin that we find ourselves in. Shortz lowers himself and boots up displaying the game grid and Sparky comes zipping in from the side. These two haven’t lost their personalities with is great to see.
The dubstep audio of the first game is back and the bass kicks even harder than it did before. Alien Life & Precious Crystals
There are nine symbols that can appear on the grid during a single spin. Eight of these are common and will pay out according to the paytable should a matching cluster of symbols hit. The final symbol is special and actually comes in a few different variations.
We’ll start by going over the low-paying images first. These are represented by the crystals that the pair is trying to get off the world. Expect to see a Sapphire Sphere, an Emerald Rhombus, an Amethyst Oval, a Ruby Square, and a Topaz Triangle. The Topaz and the Ruby are both the highest-value low-paying images.
Next up, is the alien life that the duo is trying to rescue. Watch out for a One-Eyed Alien, a Two-Eyed Alien, and a Three-Eyed Alien. The Three-Eyed creature is the highest-paying common icon in the game so pay special attention whenever it hits the reels.
Finally, we come to the special symbol. The Wild will substitute for any other common icon in the game, allowing you to create bigger matching clusters. Automatic Arithmetic
You’ll be dropping symbols onto this 7×7 grid as you play the game. Wins are achieved when 5 or more matching symbols appear on the grid and are touching either horizontally or vertically.

Sparking Specials
Whenever a winning cluster of symbols appears on the grid, those matching images will be removed from the grid to allow new images to fall into place.
2×2, 4×1, and 1×4 matching clusters will transform into a mega symbol. When this happens, the win multiplier is increased by 1. The win multiplier is capped at 25x.
Winning clusters will increase the Boost Meter. The Boost Meter will increase the amount that the win multiplier can increase to.
Special Wilds have different features that will trigger should they form part of a winning cluster. Those features are as follows:
- Red Wild: Mega symbols are created.
- Yellow Wild: Low-paying ‘crystal’ symbols are removed.
- Purple Wild: Wilds are created.
- Green Wild: Symbols are either created or destroyed.
If you’re able to collect 4 special Wilds, you will trigger the special Sparky Wild. The Sparky Wild can be triggered up to 3 times.
