Climbing The Ladder
The background to this game is basic, really basic. Everything looks almost pixelated if you look closely. There’s a blue sky above the grid with a small waterfall off to the right. The audio gets repetitive fast, luckily you’ll be able to mute it when you feel like it. Sound effects are pretty high quality but can become grating when played without music.
Overall, maybe it would’ve been a better idea to keep the slot board game focused so that the subtle animations wouldn’t be so jarring. None of these downsides makes the game unplayable by any means, it just would’ve been nice to see more work put in, especially if we are supposed to spend a lot of time playing the game.
Overall, we’ve seen better from Pragmatic Play. It’s not the worst game in their catalogue but it also isn’t the best. If you aren’t in love with the idea of the theme, maybe give this one a skip should you come across it while browsing an online casino.
