Siren’s Spell – Online Slot By Habanero Systems

Siren’s Spell is an underwater video slot from Habanero Systems played on a 5×3 grid with 25 fixed lines and a theoretical RTP of 96.77%. A 1×3 nudging Wild, Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 and a 15-spin bonus with an upgrade meter drive the action. Read on for the specs, symbols and features before you play.

The siren is a deceptive creature that takes the form of a beautiful woman and lures sailors in with a soothing song. This slot builds a sunken city around that legend, and the audio and artwork are among the strongest points of the game.

Siren’s Spell Slot Specs

The RTP is a theoretical, long-run figure, so it says nothing certain about any single session. For more, read what RTP means.

A Sunken City: Theme, Graphics and Sound

Deep under the waves is a city that is still very much alive. Lights glow in the windows of the buildings, the water is a crystal clear blue, and the ocean floor is easy to make out. Plant life sways with the current, bubbles rise and fish swim past the grid.

The audio is both ominous and soothing. The siren’s song carries over the reels, and even big wins keep the calm mood. It is a laid-back, easy-to-follow slot, and the animations are polished.

Symbols and Paytable

There are ten symbols in total: eight common icons and two special ones.

• Low-paying: four sea shells in purple, green, red and orange. Orange pays the most of the group.
• High-paying: a Sea Turtle, Shark, Seahorse and Jellyfish. The Jellyfish is the highest-value common icon.
• Scatter: the Clam with a Pearl, which only lands on reels 1, 3 and 5 and triggers the bonus.
• Wild: the Mermaid Siren. It substitutes for any common icon, and if any part of the 1×3 Wild lands, it nudges to cover the whole reel.

Grid, Paylines and Bets

The game is played on 5 reels and 3 rows with 25 fixed paylines. Bets vary in two ways: the Bet Level runs from 1 to 10 and the Coin Level from 0.01 to 20. The highest possible win is 3,351x the bet. Volatility is high, so expect wins to be less frequent but potentially larger.

Bonus Spins and the Upgrade Feature

Landing 3 Scatters in one spin awards 15 bonus spins. During the feature a meter fills with each win. When it is full, the silhouetted high-paying symbol is upgraded.

A Super Bet option can be switched on or off at any time. When it is on you pay more per spin, but the chance of triggering the bonus increases. The Buy Feature lets you trigger the bonus immediately for the displayed price. Check that both options are offered at your casino.

Our Verdict

Siren’s Spell has a simple bonus, but the look and sound make it worth a spin, especially if you like atmospheric, high-volatility slots. Try it in demo mode first if your casino offers one.
