Theme & Symbols
The theme of this title is lifted straight from the Alice in Wonderland novel. The only real creative liberties that this online release takes is with its name. Beyond what it’s called, if you know the story then almost everything should be familiar to you.
What’s nice to see is Alice relaxing off to the right-hand side of the grid. She’s having a picnic while reading a book, maybe about Wonderland. There is a constant animation of her turning pages which is nice, it makes the game feel lively.
Everything is so colourful and there isn’t a wacky creature to be seen. Everything else in the background is static which is perfectly fine. During the bonus, gameplay feature the game transitions to a different scene where Alice and the Mad Hatter are sitting across from each other at a table enjoying a cup of tea. These scene transitions are enough to keep playing just to try and see everything.
The music and audio effects are whimsical and highly appropriate for a game such as this one. It shouldn’t bother you to the point where you want to turn it off. It adds quite a bit to the title and makes your time with it more enjoyable.
Overall, while this is the tamest version of an Alice in Wonderland video slot we’ve seen, it’s fun and entertaining in its own right. If you enjoy the character and the world then definitely give this one a try. Looking at Relax Gaming’s other titles, this one fits right in.
Symbols
To start, we’ll cover the low-paying images first. There are only three and they are simply different coloured flowers. A blue, purple, and red flower will be the images you’ll see most often drop on your reels.
