This isn’t the first time Play’n GO has created a title based on a band before, recently they have given the same treatment to ZZ Top and Def Leppard. Watch Out For These Monsters

There aren’t too many icons that you’ll need to watch out for. In fact, there are 11 in total. We’ll cover them here.

To start, we’ll go over the low-paying icons. These are represented by 5 medallions. These icons are all solid colours and correspond to different monsters. Prepare to see blue, purple, green, orange, and red medallions often. The highest value of this group is the red one.

Next up we have the monsters of the band, these represent the high-paying symbols. Be on the lookout for Mana, Hiisi, Amen, Hella, and Mr. Lordi himself. Mr. Lordi is the highest value symbol out of the monsters.

The golden monster skull is the Wild for this title. The Wild will substitute for any other icon in the game, allowing for bigger combos to be built or for entirely new ones to form.

Time To Rock & Roll

Lordi Reel Monsters is a cascading video slot game that is played in a 7×7 grid. The theoretical RTP for this online release is around 96.20% with high volatility. Wins are determined by clusters of 5 or more matching symbols. Bets can range from between 0.10 – 100 coins per spin with the highest achievable win being 4,000x the bet.

Power Of The Demons!

Whenever a win occurs, the winning symbols are removed from the grid so that new icons can cascade in, filling those gaps. This process continues until no new win is formed.

On the right-hand side of the grid is the Demon Charger. Whenever a win is formed, those winning symbols are added to the Charger. There are two levels to the Charger. The first level is reached when 15 symbols are collected in a single drop.

When the first level of the Demon Charger activates one of the following monster powers is activated:

• Mana: Turns all visible instances of a single symbol into Wilds.
• Hiisi: Selects a symbol and builds up a winning cluster.
• Amen: Transforms 2 – 5 symbol types into different symbol types.
• Hella: Protects 1 – 2 symbol types and Wilds and destroys the rest.
• Mr. Lordi: Adds 5 – 8 Wilds to the grid.

When the Demon Charger reaches 40 symbols, a bonus spin is triggered. When this occurs, you are given a choice. You can choose between the Cascading Multiplier, which will increase the multiplier by 1 for reach cascade and guarantees 2 monster activations. 

Your other option is the Wild Collector, this will collect winning Wilds and will guarantee 3 monster activations. After the monsters activate, the Wilds are then added back to the grid in groups of between 5 – 10 at once. Wins will then be counted and more Wilds will be added. This will continue until all Wilds have been applied.
