Not many people will understand what the title of this game, Khepri, is about just from looking at it. However, it is the name of a god in the ancient Egyptian religion. Khepri was closely connected with the scarab beetle. There wasn’t any kind of cult following for this god though. He was largely a subordinate to the greater sun god, Ra.
This game, from Leander Games, does manage to provide an intriguing offering though. It features regular A, K, Q, J and 10 offerings as icons. Joining these, you will also find various Egyptian symbols, including the ankh, the eye of Horus and more.
Praise to the Scarab God!
The layout of this game is visible as a five reel and three row interface. So, it’s a familiar design for you to play on. There are a total of 243 different ways to win within the game too. This is not a feature that you’re able to change though.
However, you do have the option of altering the amount of the wager that you place per spin. This is done by clicking on the ‘Total Bet’ box, which will bring up a range of bet options. This provides a range of between R0.30 and R300 per spin on Khepri.
Khepri Bonus Features
And don’t forget about the nice choice of special features in this game either. These start with the wild icon, which is, of course, the symbol of the scarab beetle. Wilds will substitute for all other symbols on the reels to form a win. Whenever this icon stops on the screen, it also becomes a Wandering Wild. This sees each wild on the screen move to a random adjacent position on the next spin. The reels will also then re-spin, continuing to do so until no more wilds show on the screen. Finally, if two or more wilds stop on the same position at the same time, it gets a multiplier for each one on that position.
The End Result
The Khepri offering from Leander Games is a great addition to the developer’s portfolio. It features high quality graphics and intriguing game play alongside. All in all, it’s a very impressive option to play.
