A Desert On Fire
We’re not entirely sure how a desert goes up in flames but that’s what is happening here. Sparks and embers fly out from behind the grid, giving you an intense feeling of urgency. A red hue engulfs the rest of the background, so whatever it is that we’re after, we better get it quick.
The audio fits the theme pretty well. If you find that after a while it isn’t doing too much for you, you can always mute it, the sound effects, or both, if you’d like. The audio effects sound a bit clunky but they work well enough.
There are a few animations tied to the symbols. They aren’t the smoothest but they’re still nice to see. The anticipation effect that triggers when two Scatters hit the grid is pretty fun, the remaining reels glow with a magic effect, the reels slow down, and a unique sound plays.
The sense of urgency that we get with this game is unlike anything that we’ve really seen before. Unfortunately, that alone isn’t quite enough to elevate it to the status of ancient Egyptian elite.
Realtime Gaming is a developer known for creating solid slots and this is one such solid title. It’s fun enough but isn’t a total knockout. Enjoyers of the genre and fans of the developer are going to have fun spinning the reels but this game might struggle to find traction outside of those groups.
Playing Cards & Egyptian Gods
There are a total of 12 symbols that can be found within this grid. 10 of them are common paying icons in the paytable. The other 2 are specials that will hopefully land during the base game.
Starting off, we have the low-paying images. Represented by playing card values, you should expect to see 9, J, Q, K, and A appearing on the reels quite often.
Next up, we have the high-paying symbols. These are all represented by ancient Egyptian iconography. You should hope to see an eye of a wadjet, an ankh, a jackal, and a scarab beetle. The scarab beetle is the highest paying common symbol in the pay table, so aim to make winning combinations using it.
The adventurer is the Wild of this title. The Wild will substitute for any other common icon in the game, allowing you to build winning combos easier and even extend already existing ones. The Wild can expand and take up the entire reel.
The book is the Scatter for this title. Hitting enough of these during a single spin will trigger the bonus spins gameplay feature.

Reach The Treasure

The chosen symbol will become the morphing symbol. For the rest of the feature, if a win lands involving the chosen symbol, an area of symbols will turn into the chosen symbol.
