Making Our Way Through The Jungle
Brushing aside leaves and branches, you’ll eventually come face to face with a beautiful, if entirely static, small lake complete with miniature waterfalls and vines growing up the rockface. It’s honestly such a pity that there aren’t any background animations because they would’ve elevated the experience immensely.
The music and sound effects in this title are a bit of a hit or miss, but mostly a miss. The soundtrack feels like it would be more at home in an African savannah themed title rather than the jungle setting of this game. Sound effects don’t feel like they belong at all. They’re loud, sharp, brief, and odd.
The artwork on display is gorgeous, the emeralds that land on the reels are truly stunning. It’s honestly such a pity that the level of detail that was put into the symbols wasn’t reciprocated throughout the rest of the title, though it is understandable considering you are supposed to be focusing on the foreground rather than the background.
The few animations that are present within this online release are fine, the reels spin without issue and there is some movement on symbols during winning spins and that’s about it. It’s nothing that’ll get you too excited.
Overall, it feels like we’ve seen this title from Realtime Gaming before, almost like it’s just a reskinned version of one of their other games. That isn’t a bad thing by any means, if you’re fine with that then by all means give this one a shot. But for those looking for something different you won’t really find it here.
Fauna And Flora
As you might expect, you’re about to see a lot of plant and animal life while traversing this little outcrop of nature. Some familiar carvings might also jump out at you, let’s have a look.
To start, we have playing card values representing the low-paying images. Makeup to look like beautiful stone carvings, you can expect to see 9, 10, A, J, Q, K, and A.
Next up, we have the higher-paying icons. These are all of the plants, insects, and animals that you’ll come across in the jungle, namely bananas, flowers, a butterfly, and a monkey. These are all of the images that you’ll want to keep an eye out for as you spin the reels.
A parrot represents the Wild for this title. The Wild will substitute for any other common image in the game letting you set up some bigger combos or create entirely new ones. Unfortunately, the Wild will only be able to appear on reels 2, 3, and 4.
