While the sightseeing might be an added extra, the real reason we’re diving down deep is to get ahold of Neptune’s Bounty. The god of the seas has some nice treasure hidden away for those that seek it. You’ll be able to pull some extra spins and big wins from his treasure room if you can get to it.
We’ll be documenting our dive down to Neptune’s domain so we can keep you informed as to what you might find down there. Read on for all the information you’ll need should you decide to give this game a try.
Theme & Symbols
Neptune’s Bounty is an underwater themed video slot game that has players diving under the water’s surface in order to find Neptune and his treasure.
The background for this title is what you might expect from a water based video slot game. The scenery is unfortunately static, there are dolphins and schools of fish swimming by that are seemingly stuck in time. While the background not moving isn’t a gamebreaker it would’ve been nice to see more life given to the game.
The grid is also pretty basic, four golden walls house the symbols which are suspended in this frame. There are no visible reels which is fine but it just adds to the overall plain feeling that the slot gives off.
Animations are good, however the reels spin like they’re a little rusty. Everything else is fine, there are some bubbles that float upwards from certain symbols which certainly a nice touch which shows that the developers did think of some smaller details which would’ve been nice to see throughout the whole game.
The game’s audio is alright, it’s constant so you might find yourself muting it after a few loops. It fits the theme well enough but it doesn’t do enough to invoke a sense of adventure or wonder. Sound effects do a good job pulling your attention in when a Scatter might land or when a potential big win is about to happen.
Overall, this title could use a little polish when it comes to the audio and visual aspect but that doesn’t mean it is a game that shouldn’t be played.
For the low-paying icons you should expect to see playing card values appear quite often. J, Q, K and A will drop on the reels often as you play.
Next up are the high-paying symbols. These are the ones that you’ll want to keep an eye out for. Represented by Shells, Clams, Jellyfish, Seahorses, Dolphins and Neptune’s Trident, these are all symbols you want to land while you spin.
Lord Neptune represents this game’s Wild. He is double high, meaning he stands two symbols high. He can substitute for any common icon on the game helping you to build winning combos a lot easier.
There are two Scatters within this game. One is represented by a golden underwater city and the other by a giant clam. Landing three or more of either of these symbols will trigger a bonus gameplay feature which will help boost your chances of winning.
Online Betting Options & Features
Landing 3 of the golden city Scatters during a single spin will award you with 15 bonus spins. 4 will get you 18 and 5 will net you a whopping 22 bonus spins.
Should 3 of the giant clam Scatters land you’ll trigger the Feature Game. Here, you’ll be able to choose between either The Throne Room or the Kraken’s Cavern. During either of these games you’ll have the opportunity to win some great prizes.
