Land of the Berserkers

The northern-most kingdom is the wasteland of the Berserkers, ruled by the wise and powerful Barbarian King Styrbjorn. Protecting the kingdom is the gemstone of frost, known as the Snowstorm as well as Berserker hammers.

Blue Crystal Wild

In Kingdoms Rise Reign of Ice a blue crystal logo encased in a golden frame is the wild in this slot and can replace any symbol other than the Hammer Wild when appearing on the third to fifth reels.

Hammer Wild

The Hammer Wild is the second wild, but this one can only appear on reel two. It can substitute for any symbol.

Reign of Ice – Hammer Respins Feature

When Styrbjorn or Bryneld appear on a reel at the same time as a Hammer Wild, then the Hammer Respins feature is triggered. The Hammer Wild becomes golden minus the ‘wild’ label. Here, the character(s) will try to free the Hammer Wild encased in ice up to a total of four times.

They are collected in a multiplier bar visible at the top right of the screen with each hammer granting a 1x, 2x, 3x and 5x multiplier respectively.

During respins, any new wilds can only appear on the third to fifth reels and freeze in place. When a Hammer Wild appears on the second reel, then the frozen wilds unfreeze, and the leftmost hammer is exhausted from the multiplier bar, ending the respins.
