If you have ever played the well-known game called Bejewelled, then Jewel Blast from Quickspin will grab your attention as well. It has many similar looking symbols included within, although the initial icons are very relevant to slots, existing in the form of A, J, K, Q and 10.

The medium win symbols of the game are presented in the form of five different jewels – a purple one, a green one, a yellow offering, a red circular symbol and a light blue diamond. There is also a pleasant sounding piece of theme music incorporated into the game to accompany your spinning.

It’s all offered up on a five reel and three row layout, and Quickspin have also added a total of 25 different pay lines. These are not able to be customised in any way, but all players do have the chance to adjust the wager that they place per spin.

Here, you’re able to choose between a range of R0.25 and R100 per spin, and there is also the inclusion of an autoplay feature, allowing you to spin the reels up to 1000 consecutive times at the same wager level.

Jewel Blast  Special Features

The game doesn’t incorporate a huge amount of special features, but the first of the ones it does have is its wild icon. This is represented by the word, ‘WILD’, which is trapped inside a bubble. Wilds will substitute for all other icons on the reels in order to form a win, with the only exception being the bonus symbol.

And as far as the bonus icon is concerned, these have the words, ‘BONUS WILD’ written in them. Two or more of these showing up will trigger the ‘Blast Bonus’. During this, all adjacent symbols will be blown away in a big blast, creating spaces to be filled by other symbols, and more potential for further wins.

Jewel Blast Summary

Jewel Blast is one of our favourite games from this developer. It’s quite a simple offering when compared to others, but it’s still highly entertaining on the whole.
