Age Of Akkadia – Online Slot By Red Tiger Gaming

Oct 14, 2021 | Red Tiger Gaming, Slot Games

We’ve had video slot games about ancient Egypt, tales from old Norse villages and explored prehistoric Aztec temples but very rarely have we had video slot titles that take us back to the first empire of ancient Mesopotamia. It’s not often that we get a game that breaks the mould and transports us to a different era so we should enjoy it for all it is.

The old lore and mythology of Mesopotamia is rich and steeped in mystery. Those creatures that have seemingly jumped right out of a story book are here to help you earn potential big wins with their unknowable powers and abilities.

Join us as we venture deep into the heart of ancient Mesopotamia and uncover years old treasures with the help of even older entities.

Theme & Symbols

While the specific theme of this title differs from a majority of other atavistic inspired games, where it differs is in the specifics. Because this title is set in Mesopotamia, the architecture of the game reflects that.

From the moment you load up this title you are greeted by stone statues of intimidating beasts that stand guard over the grid. They resemble a bull and a lion that flank on the left and right hand sides respectively. In the distance is a carving of a strange creature that looks part man and part animal, they’re looking at each other and where their gaze meets is the grid.

The grid itself is fairly basic but that isn’t a problem at all, with the surrounding structures being as detailed as they are, anything extra given to the grid might have been a little too much. There is an area of silver on either side of the grid that holds a specific feature in place that hides behind the symbols, we’ll go over this in just a little bit.

Music and animations are done with such care and finesse that they tie the whole game together. The song that plays in the background feels period accurate and the movements of the symbols are smooth and makes the game feel alive.

In overview, this is yet another great looking and sounding game from Red Tiger Gaming that’s fun to play. The theme really helps this game to stand out amongst the rest of the ‘ancient’ genre of titles that are out there.

Symbols

We’ll start by mentioning the low-paying icons first. These are all represented by playing card suits so you should expect to see Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts and Spades quite often as you play the game.

Next up are the high-paying symbols. These are the ones that you’ll want to keep an eye out for as they will pay out higher values when a winning combo is formed. These symbols are represented by four of the creatures that we can see in the background.

There is a Wild in this title that will substitute for any other common icon in the game. This symbol will allow you to build a winning combo or further extend an already existing combo. A Wild will appear when a line of high-paying symbols create a win, the middle symbol is turned into a Wild.

Online Betting Options & Features

Age Of Akkadia is a 5×5 video slot game with cascading elements developed by Red Tiger Gaming. There are a total of 10 fixed paylines that you can build wins on. The volatility rating of this title is a 5 with the theoretical RTP sitting at around 95.67%.

Features

Wins are achieved when a line of 3 or more symbols lands either vertically or horizontally. Whenever a win is formed, the winning symbols will disappear allowing the remaining icons to move. If a win involves a high-paying line then the middlemost symbol will turn into a Wild. The word “BONUS” is hidden behind the symbols, the word can move on each spin and if enough symbols are removed so that it is revealed, you will earn bonus spins.

During each bonus spin, a hidden multiplier is waiting to be revealed. Each time a multiplier is revealed it is added to the total of the revealed multipliers which is then applied to each win.
