It takes a rather bold and confident type to name your casino after the expressions of satisfaction that your guests are bound to make after their time at your establishment. The name alone suggests that each and every interaction is sure to be a fabulous one.

It appears as though the cryptocurrency boom is in full swing, with multiple different cryptos out there it’s difficult to know which ones to invest in as not all are yet recognised around the world. Well, WOW Casino is an exclusively crypto casino that accepts multiple different cryptocurrencies. Boasting one of the easiest sign-up processes around, it’s easy to see that this online establishment is all about user-friendliness.

The team behind this gambling house needs to be able to back up their bravado with actions and feats that will grab the attention of the guests and hold it for as long as possible. We aim to figure out if this team of gambling enthusiasts have been able to achieve this.

Welcome Bonuses & Promotions

When it comes to welcome packages and promotions, we did say wow and not for a good reason. For as hard as we looked we couldn’t find a single bonus that could help out new players. It can really be an intimidating thing, signing up at a new casino, and the welcome package is meant to mitigate the feeling of trepidation that one might feel.

We sincerely hope that this changes in the future. There will have to be some amazing games on offer to make up for this disappointment.

Ongoing Bonuses & Promotions

The only real ongoing promotions we could find were the seasonal promotions, which obviously aren’t around all the time, and slot tournaments. Again, rather lackluster but it’s better than nothing. The tournaments are brought to you thanks to a partnership deal involving Pragmatic Play.

In order to participate in these Drops & Wins tournaments, you’ll need to play the rotating, qualifying games and make a minimal deposit.

WOW Casino Software

Some fairly prevalent online casino game developers, producers, and creators are available here. You’ll be able to find various games from the likes of BetSoft, NetEnt, Evolution Gaming, Habanero, Revolver Gaming and, of course, Pragmatic Play. Two of the heaviest hitters in the realm of live dealer casino entertainment are in the ring so if those types of games interest you the most then it might be worthwhile checking out.

Game Selection For South Africans

With over 700 premium games to choose from, your choice of title might be a little daunting at first. You’ll be able to see what’s new, live, or trending to help make your decision a little easier. If you have a favourite developer that is present at the casino then look out for their games as well. Let’s dive into the different types of games you’ll be able to find by browsing their catalogue.

Online Slots

The staple of almost every online casino establishment, the humble SA friendly slot game can provide hours of intense gambling action. You’ll be able to find simple ones, ones that tell a story, or slots that will blow you away with the amount of visual detail. Let’s have a look at a few.

From creator NetEnt we have Silverback Gold. While exploring the dense forest in search of the fabled silverback gorillas we come across a treasure the likes of which the world has never seen before. Use the various gameplay mechanics to collect tokens and boost effects all while looking at the stunning visuals.

Slinking its way to us from developer Pragmatic Play comes The Catfather. This charming little video slot title reimagines The Godfather but just with cats! It’s fun, it’s unusual, but most importantly it has some pretty nifty bonuses.

There’s little that’s more innocent than the gentle panda. Showing us just what makes these lovable, yet clumsy, bears so amazing is producer BetSoft with their game Bamboo Rush. Get ready for a relaxing far Eastern journey with all the sights that come with it. With a relatively high RTP rate at 96.90%, you might find yourself on the edge of your seat more often.

Bitcoin-Friendly Casino Slots

It should go without saying but at WOW Casino the majority of the games in their library are Bitcoin, and by extension crypto, friendly. For the ultimate crypto experience, you’ll want to look for games provided by BetSoft and Habanero.

Table Games

It isn’t just video slots that these developers are skilled with, you’ll find table games with the same level of quality as all the other titles. Keep an eye out for Roulette (various versions), Poker, Blackjack, Dragon Tiger, and Baccarat.

Live Dealer Games

Streamed live from Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play’s studios, these titles simulate the look and feel of real-life, in-person casinos. You’ll be able to engage with the dealer or with other players in the chatroom as well as use a bit more strategy than you otherwise would have in a non-live game.

The live games that you can look forward to are Candyland, Baccarat, Blackjack, Andar Bahar, Monopoly, Roulette, Dragon Tiger, Mega Wheel, and much more.

WOW Casino Banking Options For South African Players

The fact that cryptos are the only method of banking at this establishment makes things incredibly easy. All you need is a verified crypto wallet and you’re good to go. Let’s take a closer look at the six currencies that this establishment accepts.

Bitcoin – The most well-known currency, Bitcoin has been around since 2009 and has soared in value ever since its inception. Designed to be a peer-to-peer cash system, Bitcoin has essentially been the blueprint that most other currencies have been based around.

Bitcoin Cash – You might be asking what the difference is between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash, luckily we have the answer! Cash is an offshoot of the original Bitcoin service, designed to be able to process more information from a bigger blockchain. This in turn allows for faster transactions at cheaper rates.

Cardano – Another crypto that is based on blockchain technology, this one established itself in 2015. This is the largest cryptocurrency that uses proof-of-stake blockchain technology. Proof-of-stake is, in essence, a method that allows coin holders to become validators with their own nodes, validators are able to stake their coins while validations occur.

Dogecoin – The most fun crypto around, Dogecoin was created by two Reddit users as essentially a joke crypto. But, as with most things on the internet, the joke took off and enough people bought the coin to the point where it is recognised by a lot of sites and stores as legitimate.

Ethereum – This one is Bitcoin’s biggest contender despite the fact that it was minted in 2015. This coin also uses the blockchain to process its transactions and both are equally decentralised. Ether has been hot on the heels of Bitcoin and is waiting for any major change in the markets to take advantage of.

Litecoin – Finally, we come to Litecoin. This coin is one of the earliest spin-off coins of Bitcoin, released in 2011. Charlie Lee, the coin’s founder, was a former developer at Google and saw the potential that Bitcoin had and so he decided to mint his coin two years after Bitcoin was released to the world.

The Accepted Payment Methods For Deposits:

Bitcoin – Minimum deposit of 0.0002 BTC.

  • Bank or credit card statement.
  • Partially covered copy of the card used for payment.

Cashout Timeframes

Since everything is done via cryptocurrency wallets, most transactions should happen instantaneously.

Cashout Limits

A maximum limitation of R35,000 per calendar week has been established when withdrawing from this establishment.

Customer Support

In order to really wow your players, you need an excellent customer support structure in place. Unfortunately, once again this casino is lacking in that department. In order to get in touch with members of support staff, you’ll have to send off an email to support@wowcasino.com directly or by using the mail page on their site.

This has got to be one of my favourite sites to play. Although it’s not really perfect, I’d still prefer it over a ton of other games for sure, especially when they have a ton of variety sprinkled around their site’s homepage.

You can’t just check out a game, slot or anything without registering. All the time on everything you click it wants you to register which is really frustrating. The support is missing so you can’t even ask the questions you have for them.
A positive note is that at least the website looks cool

Imagine a land based casino. You go up to the entrance where someone hands you a form to fill in and sign the agreement with your name. before you can even as much as look inside. Not nice, right? I would turn around straight away.. WOW casino just did the same. Letting people to sign up and agree to the T&C first before they can even have a look around the place is Not WOW!. It’s just rude.
