Enchanting Atmosphere: Theme and Symbols
The story is about reassembling crystal shards to restore the orb of power and break an ancient curse. The slot uses darker colours that give it a mysterious, more serious tone, and the orchestral-style music, heavy on stringed instruments, reinforces the enchanting mood.
Restricted Game
This slot game from Yggdrasil is no longer available to South African players.
The higher-value symbols include the cursed wizard Ozwin, who is doomed to live out his days as an owl, his young apprentice, a compass and a blue flask. The four poker-suit symbols make up the lower-value end.
Jackpot Free Spins Feature
The 10 Jackpot Free Spins, with 3x multipliers, are activated any time 3 or more scatter symbols appear on the reels. Landing 4 or 5 scatters also pays 1,000 or 10,000 coins.
You can also win the Jackpot Free Spins by collecting five identically coloured crystals, either in the Spellbook Bonus or in the base game. The five crystals form an orb, and collecting four more orbs of the same colour unlocks the progressive jackpot.
The Five Progressive Jackpots
There are five jackpots of different sizes, each tied to a rank: Novice, Apprentice, Mystic, Wizard and Archmage. Unlocking them is a much harder task than triggering the free spins.
Spellbook Bonus Game
The Spellbook Bonus Game is triggered at random when 3 or more bonus symbols appear. If 4 or 5 of these symbols land on a spin, you collect 1,000 or 10,000 coins respectively.
The feature asks you to pick from 18 spellbooks to reveal coin wins and shards that count towards the free spins feature. It ends when the page opens onto an evil spell.
Volatility and Devices
The variance is about medium, so a bigger bankroll helps if you want to play long enough to chase the higher prizes. The slot runs on mobile, tablet and PC.

Our Verdict on Ozwin’s Jackpot
Ozwin’s Jackpot suits players who like a jackpot slot with layers: crystal collecting, a pick-a-book bonus and free spins with 3x multipliers. The progressive jackpots are the hardest part to reach, so treat them as a bonus rather than the plan.
