
Greentube Strengthens South African Presence Through Hollywoodbets Partnership

Greentube, the digital division of NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment, has secured another step forward in its South African expansion with a new content partnership with Hollywoodbets. The agreement, announced on August 19, 2025, builds on the company’s earlier market entry and underscores its growing ambitions in one of Africa’s most competitive regulated markets.
Mynt-Powered Integration
The deal was facilitated by NOVOMATIC Africa and follows Greentube’s official debut in South Africa in March 2025. Content is being delivered through the supplier’s Mynt platform, a modular system anchored by a Remote Gaming Server (RGS). Designed for scalability, Mynt enables efficient content rollout, while its integrated tools help operators boost player engagement and retention.
Hollywoodbets customers now have access to some of the developer’s most recognisable Novomatic titles, including Book of Ra Deluxe, Sizzling Hot Deluxe, and Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe. These games, already well established in regulated markets worldwide, form a core part of Greentube’s portfolio.

Building on Earlier Supabets Launch
The collaboration with Hollywoodbets comes only months after Greentube’s major South African deal with Supabets in April 2025. That agreement also leveraged the Mynt platform to introduce Novomatic’s flagship titles, such as Book of Ra, Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe, and Sizzling Hot Deluxe, to local players.
Supabets, already well established with more than 1,300 betting markets and an extensive casino offering, was the first to bring these iconic games to South Africa under the Greentube brand. At the time, Markus Antl, Greentube’s Director of Global Sales and Key Account Management, commented that the partnership demonstrated “the strong demand for Novomatic content in the region” and marked the start of “a long and prosperous relationship with Supabets.”
The addition of Hollywoodbets now ensures that Greentube’s reach spans two of the most visible operators in the country, providing exposure to a wider customer base across both sports betting and online casino verticals.
Expanding International Footprint
The Hollywoodbets agreement follows Greentube’s other European-focused moves this summer, including partnerships with Croatia’s national lottery operator Hrvatska Lutrija and with bet365 and Zeal in Germany. Together, these alliances highlight the company’s dual strategy: reinforcing its established European presence while simultaneously expanding into high-growth regulated markets like South Africa.
