Burning Diamonds designed by Kalamba Games for the Oryx Gaming platform is a four-tiered progressive jackpot slot: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. The game features free spins, multiplier wilds, Hyper Bonus and Bonus Jackpots.
Burning Diamonds Retro Design
The graphics in this 5-reels and 40 paylines slot game are standard. Going a step further, you can even say that they are more nostalgic than modern. The symbols appearing on the ivory reels include a burning diamond and four lucky seven symbols.
There are also pineapples, watermelons, lemons, cherries, grapes and plums – making for a juicy selection. The game also has some great music that is full of energy and life with other audio effects that grow in proportion to the level of intensity of payline wins and triggering features.
Multiplier Wild Feature
One of the attractions of this game is the multiplier wild symbol which substitutes for all the regular game symbols.
Free Spins Bonus
The free spins bonus is kicked off by three bonus scatter symbols, the number of which is determined by the bet value option selected to the left of the reels. During the feature, sets of three bonus accumulator symbols are used to add three free spins to the total.
The Feature Bet Selector consists of four levels which contain 1x, 2x, 3x or 4x multiplier wilds and 5, 8, 12 or 15 free spins respectively.
Burning Diamonds Hyper Bonus
The Hyper Bonus offers players immediate entry to the free spins with one of four options. The Hyper Bonus means no waiting to trigger the feature, and you can get straight down to business.
You can collect 15, 12, 8 or 5 free spins with the corresponding 5x, 3x, 2x or 1x multipliers respectively. Remember that this option comes at a price, so you want to be careful when using it.
Bonus Jackpots
The game contains four progressive bonus jackpots: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. These are unlocked with 14, 12, 9 or 7 jackpot symbols on a single spin. The jackpots correspond to individual player’s contributions rather than from a pooled network or local network jackpot.
Closing Points
Burning Diamonds slot has an RTP that varies from 93.40% to 97.21% and is a higher volatility progressive jackpot, so the risks and rewards are higher. The developer calls this July 2019 release an ultra-volatile iconic game. It is designed using HTML5, so it is compatible with desktop and mobile devices.
