SiGMA, the conference that brings together the industry leaders in the mobile gaming, sports betting, and blockchain spaces, has announced that they will be hosting their second African event in the Sun Exhibits Integrated Resort situated in GrandWest, Cape Town. As mentioned, this is the second time the event will be held in Africa, following on from Nairobi, Kenya, in 2023. The 3-day summit will be hosted on the 11th of March until the 13th of March 2024.

The conference will see leaders and innovators in the space come together to network, meet influential people within the gambling scene, and potentially even attempt to influence government officials and policymakers in order to develop partnerships, entice investors, and explore industry-shaping technology.

650 Operators, 150+ Speakers in Attendance

As Cape Town is a cultural hub of Southern Africa, it makes sense that the summit will be hosted there this year. Visionaries from across the space will be there, intermingling with one another all set to the gorgeous backdrop of the Cape Townian landscape. V.I.P. seminars and dinners, along with gala awards, ensure the prestige of this event. SiGMA Awards nominations will open up in February 2024.

As South Africa is a rapidly expanding and evolving market, it only makes sense that the country will host this conference. While it is true that South Africa has had a rather contentious history with online gambling bills, there will also be the long-awaited introduction of the remote gambling bill.

To get a brief overview of the conference taking place in March, there are 2,500 delegates, 650 operators, 150+ speakers, 100+ exhibitors, 100 affiliates, and 42% C-Levels in attendance this year.
