Hot on the heels of the Jimi Hendrix slot announcement at NetEnt, the digital gaming company announced its third slot game, Motörhead, to be added to the NetEnt Rocks The Tour series of slots.
The first slot in the series is the very popular Guns N’ Roses that was released in January at casinos offering NetEnt games. The Jimi Hendrix slot was announced at ICE Totally Gaming 2016, and will be released in April this year. The third slot in the series will be based on the band Motörhead. While some say that they are more heavy metal than rock, it will still fit in with the NetEnt Rocks series.
Motörhead will be released about six months after the Jimi Hendrix slot game, with its release date on September 22nd. Choosing them will be a fitting tribute to Lemmy Kilmister, the man who dedicated much of his life to the group. Lemmy, at the age of 70, has recently died of cancer, just a few days before the end of 2015.
At this time, there are no specific details about the slot. Judging from the quality of slots that NetEnt produces, and noting how spectacular the Guns N’ Roses slot game is, players can expect another two top notch slots when Jimi Hendrix and Motörhead are released.
About Motörhead
Motörhead was a British rock band that had its beginnings in 1975. Lemmy Kilmister was the band’s singer and songwriter who was with Motörhead from the start. He constantly remained with the band while others came and went.
Their albums include Ace of Spades, Overkill, and Bad Magic. Some of the group’s most popular songs were Ace of Spades, The Game, Hammered, Killed by Death, Overkill, Bad Magic, 1916, and many others.
At this time NetEnt has not announced which of their songs will be used for the slot game. It is likely, based on the Guns N’ Roses slot, and what we know of the upcoming Jimi Hendrix slot, that there will be five Motörhead songs used in the video slot.
